Dance to Korea is back with a Spin-Off — giving U.S.-based K-pop dance fans the opportunity to show off their moves on a big stage screen and win a FREE trip to South Korea! Feel Free to express your love for Korea through music, movement, and imagination.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I submit more than one entry?  

While there is no rule against it, submitting multiple entries will not increase any participants' likelihood of winning the competition. We recommend submitting just one video submission, but submitting multiple will not be grounds for disqualification.

What regions are eligible?  

Only United States of America residents are eligible for participation.  

No purchase is necessary to enter or win. No purchase of any nature increases the chances of winning. 

1.  Eligibility 

  

  • Open to legal residents of the United States only 

  • Must be able to attend the in-person final event in Tyson’s Corner in Washington, D.C. on 08/23 - 08/24, 2025 if you are selected as a semi-finalist.  

2.  Agreement to Official Rules 

  

  • By participating, you agree to be fully and unconditionally bound by these Official Rules, and you represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements set forth herein. In addition, you agree to accept the decisions of the Event Sponsor as final and binding as they relate to the Event and the interpretation of these Official Rules. 

3.  Highlights

  

  • Win a round-trip ticket from Washington, D.C. to Seoul 

  • Gain exposure on official social media channels  

4.  Submission & Event Period 

  

  • Preliminary submissions will be accepted on 07/23– 08/13/2025 (PST). 

  • Semi-Finalists Announced: 08/15/2025  

  • 20 selected teams will be performing at the live event in Tyson’s Corner in Washington, D.C. on 08/23 - 08/24, 2025.  

5.  How to Enter 

  

  • Record a 1–3 minute K-pop cover dance video  

  • Format: Vertical (9:16) or Horizontal (16:9) 

  • Camera: Phone recordings accepted 

  • Expression: Participants are encouraged to include elements that reflect Korean culture or trends  

  • Post the Reel to Instagram and request collaboration with @visitkorea.us or send it via google form 

  • Submit the Dance to Korea Spin-off 2025 Google Form

6. Requirements of Entries 

  

An entry may not contain, as determined by the Event Sponsor, in its sole discretion, any content that:  

  • is sexually explicit or suggestive  

  • violent or derogatory of any ethnic, racial, gender, religious, professional or age group; profane or pornographic; or contains nudity  

  • promotes use of illegal drugs, tobacco, firearms/weapons (or the use of any of the foregoing); promotes any activities that may appear unsafe or dangerous; promotes any particular political agenda or message;  

  • is obscene or offensive, or endorses any form of hate or hate group;  

  • appears to duplicate any other submitted entries;  

  • defames, misrepresents or contains disparaging remarks about other people or companies;  

  • contains trademarks, logos, or trade dress (such as distinctive packaging or building exteriors/interiors, or theme parks) owned by others, without their permission;  

  • contains any personally identifying information, such as personal names or e-mail addresses;  

  • contains copyrighted materials owned by others (including photographs, sculptures, paintings, and other works of art or images published on or in websites, television, movies or other media), without their permission;  

  • contains materials embodying the names, likenesses, voices, or other indicia identifying any person, including, without limitation, celebrities and/or other public or private figures, living or dead, without their permission;  

  • contains look-alikes of celebrities or other public or private figures, living or dead;  

  • communicates messages or images inconsistent with the positive images and/or goodwill to which we wish to associate; and/or  

  • violates any law. 

7. Prizes

  

  • 1st Place: Two round-trip flight from Washington, D.C. to Seoul (Incheon) (must be used within 1 year from award date) 
    *Flight tickets are limited to two regardless of team size. 

  • 2nd Place: K-Heritage Store $500 Shopping Credit

  • 3rd Place: $100 Amazon gift card 

  • Fan Favorite: Extra stage feature or social post promotion 

  • All finalists receive participation merchandise and Korean cultural items 

8. Terms & Restrictions

  • The plane ticket(s) must be used within 1 year from award date.  

  • Winners must submit original certificates upon ticketing. Lost or damaged tickets will not be replaced.  

  • All taxes and fuel surcharges of the tickets are the sole responsibility of the winner. 

  • Tickets are non-refundable/non-transferable and are not valid for upgrades and/or frequent flyer miles (no miles will be accrued). Travel is subject to seat availability, travel restrictions, and blackout dates. Additional baggage charges may apply.  

  

9. Additional Legal Terms & Disclaimers 

  

  • Music Licensing Responsibility: All participants are solely responsible for ensuring that any music used in their video submissions is either properly licensed, royalty-free, or permitted for use under fair use. Any copyright claims or disputes arising from unlicensed use of music will be the sole responsibility of the entrant. 

  • Video Content Ownership: By submitting a video, you agree that all rights to distribute, repost, edit, and publicly display the video are granted to the Korea Tourism Organization and Urban Creator Inc. for promotional, marketing, or reporting purposes. No financial compensation will be provided for use of these materials. 

  • Safety Disclaimer: All choreography must be safe for public performance. Any stunts, dangerous moves, or actions that could cause harm to yourself or others are strictly discouraged. Participants are fully responsible for any injuries or damages incurred during the filming or performance process. 

  • Team Representation & Ticket Limits: In the event of a team win, only two (2) round-trip tickets will be provided per winning entry, regardless of team size. Teams must designate who will use the tickets. 

  • Participation Consent: By submitting your entry, you agree that organizers may use your name, likeness, and performance footage for publicity, including but not limited to social media, event videos, press releases, and recap materials. 

  • Legal Waiver: By entering, participants waive any and all rights to claim damages of any kind against the Event Sponsor, Event Agency, or their partners. This includes but is not limited to legal claims related to copyright, trademark infringement, personal injury, and data usage. 

  • Indemnity Clause: Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Korea Tourism Organization, Urban Creator Inc., and their partners from any liability, legal action, or claim that may result from submitted content or participation in the event.
